An immovable wall of glass can be as impeding as a concrete wall when it comes to merging the indoors with the outdoors. To rectify the problem, NanaWall creates glass walls—ranging from eight feet to 320 feet—that disappear. Instead of accordion-style doors that collect on one side, the company’s latest glass-wall system, the VSW65 single-track slider, features easily moveable, independent glass panels that glide on a single overhead track and stack on top of one another without obstructing any of the views. The single-track system eliminates the need for thick walls to contain multiple tracks. Also new from the company, the Energy Star–rated WD66 folding glass-wall system (shown) is ergonomically designed to prevent water intrusion and uses heat-mirror glass that combines superior thermal properties comparable to those of a solid, insulated wall.
