Among Tremblant’s latest upscale residential projects is a new Storied Places collection, the first private residence club in Quebec. It offers 11 rustically designed, 3,000-square-foot townhouses, each with views of picturesque Lac Tremblant and ski-in/ski-out access to the resort’s 94 runs.

The four-bedroom floor plans are well suited for families—a children’s bedroom with a pair of bunk beds is located on a lower floor with the media room, while a trio of ensuite bedrooms are arranged on the main and upper floors. Interior design has a relaxed elegance highlighted by warm woods and rough-hewn stone; up-to-date technology includes Wi-Fi Internet connections and fully integrated Bose stereo systems. There are spacious patios and decks, and each residence has a private Jacuzzi. (Click image to enlarge)

Carole Daigle, the genial innkeeper, provides concierge services that range from stocking refrigerators to securing lift tickets to hiring chefs for dinner parties. She can accommodate virtually any request. Her staff of 10 shares her friendly-but-professional demeanor, and they create a comfortable atmosphere in the lodge, which contains a large honor bar and a well-equipped gym. All Storied Places residences receive midweek housekeeping, but daily service is also available.

Each one-tenth fraction sells for approximately CAD$200,000 ($190,000) with annual dues of CAD$9,600 ($9,100); a share includes four weeks of guaranteed use, and unlimited use is based on space availability. Because of Tremblant’s four-season appeal, Daigle says it is relatively easy for owners to get the weeks they want. Owners may also trade for weeks at other Storied Places properties in locations such as Whistler, Lake Tahoe and Lake Las Vegas.
